About the Role

The Project Manager is the key figure responsible for the overall success of Prysmian's projects in Australia. This role requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills to ensure the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of Prysmian's agreed scope of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead Prysmian's team in project planning and design sessions with contractors and clients, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of Prysmian's scope.
  • Scope Management: Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, optimizing processes and approaches where necessary.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and stakeholders, coordinating internal resources and Prysmian's ASP for seamless project execution.
  • Progress Monitoring: Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, ensuring the project stays on track and meets its objectives.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven experience in delivering projects in the engineering and construction industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Motivation and Autonomy: Motivated and able to operate with limited direct supervision, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Prior experience working and dealing with a variety of stakeholders, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge or experience with HV cables and systems is essential, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the project.
