About the Role
At Certis Security Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled Gatehouse Security Professional to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and take pride in providing exceptional security services.
About You
We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in staff management and performance management. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this position. If you have prior experience in managing client relationships and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, then we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle movement, access control, and visitor passes to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on site.
- Monitor WHS, CCTV surveillance, and respond to various site alarms promptly.
- Provide daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms, and any checks to ensure compliance with all relevant State and Federal legislation.
- Ensure perimeter security by preventing unauthorized access to the site and vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the Site perimeter.
- Respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems, and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
- Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, Screening Area, Site buildings, and grounds via CCTV, access control system, and the visitor management system process.
- Traffic control – pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, parking areas.
Requirements
- The applicable Security Licence of the State or Territory in which you work and a current Senior First Aid Certificate in accordance with the applicable Security legislation and associated Regulations.
- Risk and Assessment Qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role(s).
- Prior demonstrated experience in staff management & performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment, managing client relationships.

Salary
$65,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience.
