About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employment Coach. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their career goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges to achieve their career aspirations.
  • Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning to help customers achieve their goals.
  • Prepare quality resumes, cover letters, and support the job application process to increase customers' chances of securing employment.
  • Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf to ensure they receive the support they need.
  • Refer customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counselling to address any barriers to employment.
  • Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment to ensure customers have the best possible start.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping others and has a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers. You will be self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute to efficiently complete administrative tasks.
