We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Youth Support Specialist to join our team in the Caboolture Region. As a key member of our Children, Youth and Families (CYF) Intensive Foster Care and High Plus programs, you will provide therapeutic supports for young people and carers in foster and kinship care arrangements that are under stress, at risk of breakdown, or requiring support to deal with complex needs.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing care and/or support to children and young people in foster or kinship care
- Enhancing opportunities for the young person to participate in age-appropriate activities to support development of positive self-regard, community inclusion, and positive relations with family of origin
- Working alongside Practitioners to support children to complete intervention work to achieve goals
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per fortnight. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $37.34 per hour, excluding allowances.
