Project Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Perth, AU. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of Aftermarket Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects by managing procurement and supply chain activities across the entire project lifecycle.

This is a dynamic environment where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain activities support overall project goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders as assigned by the Project Manager
  • Manage supply chain timelines by tracking purchase orders, coordinating supplier activities, and proactively mitigating delays
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks or deviations from project plans
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, logistics, finance, and quality teams
  • Suspend project reporting by maintaining accurate procurement documentation and contributing to progress updates
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for international shipments, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need strong project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should have a solid understanding of operational procurement processes and supply chain best practices, familiarity with international trade compliance and regulatory frameworks, and proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
