Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Department of Education, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to support value-for-money outcomes and compliance with government regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on contract management and procurement best practices to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain and update the Procurement and Contract Management Framework, procedures, and systems to ensure alignment with government policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of public sector procurement frameworks and experience in developing and managing contracts across multiple categories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present complex procurement and technical documentation to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems and issues.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain current knowledge and understanding of government procurement frameworks, policies, and procedures, including social procurement considerations.
