Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced transport professional to oversee all interstate operations, servicing both the east and west coasts.

The ideal candidate will manage a busy team of 22 drivers with 15 trucks, successfully coordinating and expanding an interstate fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Linehaul driver roster
  • Closely collaborate with Branch Managers and Operations Managers to improve commercial performance
  • On-board new Linehaul driver team members
  • Coordinate communications with Linehaul drivers in the event of break-downs or other concerns
  • Support driver and workplace safety protocols, focusing on fatigue management
  • Comply with Local, State and Federal rules and regulations
  • Prepare documentation relevant to NHVAS quarterly compliance for Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue
  • Coordinate and supervise all trailer dog runner movements between SA and VIC

Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge and proven experience in Linehaul operations
  • Broad background in fatigue management, chain of responsibility, dangerous goods, scheduling, and compliance
  • Thorough understanding of NHVAS auditing processes
  • Confidently partnering with management and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong team leadership skills with motivating and supporting employees in a positive workplace culture
