About this role:

This is a strategic opportunity to develop and implement a credit risk management framework. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for shaping the organisation's credit risk strategy.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine the credit risk model in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the credit worthiness of SME applicants using a risk grading system.
  • Enhance and optimise the credit risk grade system and relevant policies.
  • Provide informed risk advice on customer on-boarding processes.
  • Monitor regulatory credit provisions.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in senior credit roles supporting commercial SMEs.
  • Credit underwriting expertise, risk analysis, and modelling knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills to present to senior leaders at Board level.
  • Experience interacting with regulators and knowledge of relevant prudential standards.
