About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Palliative Care Specialist to join our team at JPS Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Palliative Care services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership to medical staff within the service, contributing to the development of a cohesive and effective patient care team.
  • Ensure the organization, management, and provision of expert clinical services in Palliative Care, including community-based care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Palliative Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive clinical experience in Palliative Care, with a strong understanding of the principles of quality in healthcare.
