Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze risk scenarios and provide advice on privacy-related matters. This involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive privacy risk governance framework
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices
  • Provide expert guidance on privacy-related issues and support project stakeholders in completing Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Act as an escalation point for assessing privacy incidents and manage incident management processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Commerce, or a similar discipline
  • Background in Risk, Compliance, and/or previous Regulatory experience, along with a solid understanding of data protection principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex problems and identify key drivers and potential solutions
