At Macquarie, we're seeking a skilled Privacy Manager to join our dynamic Banking and Financial Services Privacy Office. As part of our Line 1 Risk Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Group Privacy Policy and related regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee the privacy risk governance framework across the Banking and Financial Services group at Macquarie.
  • Analyse risk scenarios and provide advice on privacy-related issues to stakeholders across Macquarie.
  • Support project stakeholders in completing Privacy Impact Assessments and act as an escalation point to assess privacy incidents.
  • Oversight and management of upcoming regulatory changes impacting privacy, including preparation and presentation of governance meeting packs and associated reporting functions.
  • Assist in implementing the Privacy framework and ensure ongoing compliance through governance, policies, training, reporting, and assurance.

As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with stakeholders across various disciplines, including Line 1 and Line 2 Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations, to ensure privacy risks are managed effectively.

To be successful in this role, you'll need relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Commerce or a similar discipline, along with 3+ years of experience in Risk, Compliance and/or Regulatory roles, with a strong understanding of Australian privacy regulation.
