At Regis Aged Care we are currently seeking a suitable qualified Maintenance Officer to take on a challenging and rewarding position.
The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing maintenance and services to the building, equipment, and grounds.
A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Officer
May involve:
- Maintaining plant, equipment, building, and services to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ensuring up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with relevant safety best practices.
- Maintaining the grounds in a neat and tidy manner, identifying preventative maintenance requirements, completing the works, and documenting schedules.
- Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.
What We Look for in a Candidate
We are seeking a candidate with:
- General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
- General skills such as painting, maintenance of the grounds, garden beds, and knowledge of gardening equipment.
- Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
- Excellent customer service manner.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
