Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cost Estimator/Construction Project Coordinator to join our client for a contract-based role. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in commercial new build or fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive cost analyses and prepare detailed estimates for construction projects.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure effective cost control and project administration.
  3. Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry regulations.
  4. Monitor project progress, including tracking variations and claims.
  5. Provide ongoing cost advice and guidance to project teams.
  6. Prepare and present regular reports on cost analysis and budget updates.

Requirements

  1. Hold a valid working visa.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  3. Previous experience in quantity surveying and contract administration on commercial new build or fit out projects.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
