About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of our group and treasury accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
  • Manage bank relationships, negotiate banking facilities, and ensure compliance with covenants
  • Monitor and manage financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks, through appropriate hedging strategies
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of treasury transactions, including investments, borrowings, and intercompany funding
  • Coordinate the quarterly and annual consolidation process for the group
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, including intercompany loan consolidation and interest
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and support the external audit process
  • Develop and implement group accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all entities
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and report to senior management
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into cash flow projections and financial performance
  • Ensure robust internal controls are in place for treasury and group accounting activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in treasury and group accounting functions
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Group or Treasury Accounting
  • Proven experience with consolidation processes and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems and ERP software is highly desirable
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
