Kelsian Group, an ASX200-listed business, is seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join its Corporate Finance Team.

About the Role

This role will provide accounting support in preparing monthly accounts, year-end financials, reconciliations, tax returns, and regulatory lodgements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Accountant to achieve timely and accurate financial reporting across the Kelsian Group and its entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End Accounting: Prepare and process monthly journals, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Maintain fixed asset registers, process monthly depreciation, and ensure adherence to asset accounting policies.
  • End of Year: Assist with end-of-year journals, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and audit support.
  • Taxation: Support in the preparation of monthly GST and PAYG returns and FBT compliance.
  • Corporate Support: Provide administrative support as needed, prepare regulatory forms, and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with accounting software (Accpac preferred) and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work systematically and logically.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively across various levels.
  • Ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment and a small team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance/Business or equivalent experience (3+ years).
  • Prior experience in the Tourism or Transport industries is desirable.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
