The role involves taking a lead position on projects, working closely with clients and internal teams in the Tertiary Education sector.

Responsibilities will include managing overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines, including objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Leading and coordinating team members' efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and objectives, ensuring projects meet their expectations.
  • Managing project budgets and financials, tracking project costs, and optimizing finances.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, developing risk management strategies.
  • Managing project change requests, implementing changes efficiently.
  • Coordinating and managing project testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Leading project closeout activities, finalizing deliverables, conducting evaluations, and documenting results.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field such as project management, engineering, or construction management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with experience working on Tertiary/Higher Education projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, including leading and managing teams, delegating tasks, and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong financial and budget management skills, optimizing project budgets and financials.
