Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Product Advocate. As a Product Advocate, you will promote and sell parts, service products, and service options for diesel engine and power systems.

You will use your technical knowledge and expertise to provide excellent advice and offerings to clients, ensuring both your success and the company's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell parts, service, and products from leading manufacturers such as mtu, Detroit, Mercedes, Allison, and associated maintenance products.
  • Build and maintain fantastic working relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Establish, maintain, and review account plans while maintaining currency of CRM information.
  • Create, maintain, and utilize leads and opportunities to develop quotes and proposals.
  • Have regular contact with other regional branches, ensuring the development and growth of products through initiatives, features, and benefits.
  • Assist in the development of and execute strategic business plans with a methodical, measured approach.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth using analysis of sales and historic activities.

Requirements:

  • Trade-qualified as a diesel mechanic or related field; alternatively, a mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Mastery of problem-solving techniques gained while on the tools.
  • 2-3 years in sales experience ideal, but willing to train the right person.
  • Ability to read and interpret product information bulletins.
  • Knowledge of leading diesel engine and power systems highly desirable.
