Financial Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Support Specialist to join our team.

The role of a Financial Support Specialist is crucial in providing timely and personalized support to our customers. This involves connecting with customers, building trust, and listening to their situations to develop deep customer relationships.

  • Evaluate and analyze applications for financial hardship assistance, including reviewing accompanying documentation.
  • Assess clients' situations comprehensively and articulate suitable financial remedies.
  • Engage in discussions with clients or their representatives on complex issues, negotiating personalized financial arrangements via phone, email, or letter.
  • Maintain accurate records detailing client interactions, reasons for financial challenges, assessment outcomes, and hardship resolutions.

Tertiary qualification in Administration, Business, or similar is beneficial but not essential. Previous experience in Collections/Hardship in the banking and financial services industry is also desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level preferred) and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are required.
