Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team at St Paul's Primary School in Mount Lawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children during after-school hours, as well as coordinating activities and events that promote social, emotional, and physical development.

About the Role

  • To lead and manage the OSHC team in delivering exceptional care and services to children;
  • To develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, including homework support, sports, and arts and crafts;
  • To maintain open communication with parents and school staff to ensure seamless integration with the school's policies and procedures;
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including child safety and welfare standards.

Key Requirements

  • A Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or equivalent) is essential; preferably with experience in leading or managing OSHC teams;
  • An up-to-date Working with Children Check and HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, parents, and colleagues;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
