We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic **Coordinator of OSHC **to lead our Out of School Hours Care service and Vacation Care program. This is a full time position for immediate start.

**Your Role**:
As the **Coordinator of OSHC**, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our Out of School Hours Care Service and Vacation Care program, ensuring it provides high quality care and meets the needs of our growing school community. You will be responsible for guiding program development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing a small team of talented educators, working closely with children, families and staff to create a welcoming and stimulating environment.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Lead, develop, and implement a dynamic OSHC and Vacation Care program that meets the developmental and social needs of all children who attend the service.
- Find and source engaging activities that fit the scope and budget of the program.
- Develop partnerships with community organisations to enhance program offerings and access additional resources.
- Coordinate daily operations, including rostering, staff supervision, and administrative duties.
- Foster a positive team culture amongst a small team of educators and provide ongoing support, guidance, and professional development for staff.
- Ensure the program meets or exceeds Framework requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the programs and make improvements as needed.
- Ensure the program and facilities adhere to all relevant Regulations and Statutory requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in quality assurance and accreditation processes with the aim to achieve the best outcome possible.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety checks of the facility, equipment, and activities.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families and communicate regularly about their children's participation, progress, and any concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to children's attendance, program participation, and any health or behavioral needs.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including resource procurement and tracking expenses to ensure financial accountability.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience as an Educator with a genuine passion for children and their development.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience in people management and rostering.
- Strong level of administrative skills.
- Willingness to embrace new ideas and technologies to enhance student engagement and participation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Proven ability to conduct oneself in a way which develops personal respect, respect for the College and the teaching profession.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with a focus on continuous improvement and student success.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and other relevant regulations.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Have a current Positive Notice working with children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one.
- Relevant qualifications in Childcare, Education, or a related field.
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
