Job Description

The procurement and contract management specialist will assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting project managers and internal teams to gather information and provide visibility across budgets, claims, variations, and progress payments
  • Monitoring contract milestones and managing variations, extensions of time (EoTs), and other commercial matters
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks within contracts while supporting dispute resolution when required
  • Maintaining accurate records of all contract documentation, correspondence, and commercial queries
  • Serving as a key point of contact for contract-related queries, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely outcomes
  • Supporting continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to contract processes, policies, and systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role
  • Ideal qualification in Law or Quantity Surveying
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to interpret and draft contract terms and conditions
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
