Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Marston's Pubs. As a key member of our pub management team, you will be responsible for shaping and leading our kitchen team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and wider team to ensure the success of the business.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs to achieve budget targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a similar pub or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food trends and menu development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager and wider team to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
