Are you passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Employment Consultant to join our team in Bundaberg.

As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping job seekers with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities become work-ready and secure sustainable employment. You will be based at our Bundaberg site, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

We are looking for someone who is driven by a passion for customer service, has excellent communication skills, and is able to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. If you have a background in delivering great customer service, such as retail, call centre operations, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sourcing employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Helping job seekers identify their skills and abilities, and securing employment
  • Delivering ongoing outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers
  • Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
  • Creating and implementing joint job plans with job seekers to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Building relationships with local employers and community organisations

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
