Your Role as a Disability Employment Consultant
You will play a vital part in helping people with injuries, illnesses or disabilities become work-ready and find suitable employment. Your base will be our Bundaberg site, but you'll have the opportunity to work with job seekers and employers across the region.
The Rewards of This Job
This role offers an attractive base salary, ranging between $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. You'll also have access to supportive training and development opportunities, including a nationally accredited course in Employment Services. Your Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Sourcing employment opportunities for your job seekers
- Helping job seekers identify their skills and abilities, and secure employment
- Delivering exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers
- Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
- Creating and implementing joint job plans with job seekers to achieve clear employment pathways
- Building relationships with local employers and community organisations
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
