About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team at IPD Australia. As a key member of our Strategic Solutions Team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support and tailored solutions to our key accounts.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive technical support and solutions for our key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful project outcomes through proactive engagement and responsiveness.

You will work closely with our IPD sales team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, while ensuring our continued value in our clients' operations and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support and solutions for key accounts
  • Assisting key accounts in achieving their objectives
  • Collaborating with the Strategic Solutions Team on pre-sales activities
  • Actively communicating client challenges and inquiries to internal teams
  • Conducting training courses for customers and staff
  • Serving as a mentor and resource for junior team members

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in industrial automation, PLC, SCADA, and Historian. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial automation
  • Proficiency in GE Vernova software and Emerson PAC systems
  • Demonstrated experience in site-based architectures, system deployments, commissioning, and technical support
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar
