About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team at IPD Australia. As a key member of our Strategic Solutions Team, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and tailored solutions for our key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support and solutions for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Assist key accounts in achieving their objectives by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Solutions Team on pre-sales activities, including crafting innovative solution designs and delivering compelling technical presentations.
  • Actively communicate client challenges and inquiries to internal teams, ensuring timely responses and effective follow-up to resolve issues.
  • Conduct engaging training courses for both customers and staff to foster knowledge sharing and assist in the development of marketing materials.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing insights and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on PLC, SCADA, and Historian.
  • Proficiency in GE Vernova software and Emerson PAC systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in site-based architectures, system deployments, commissioning, and technical support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
