About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager to support our Federal Government client.

The ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager will provide expert advice and oversee the procurement and contract management of IT infrastructure, on-premise software, software as a service, and professional services.

This role involves managing and implementing complex ICT procurement and contract management, including contract negotiation, performance management, vendor relationship management, contract governance, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on ICT procurement and contract management
  • Oversight of the procurement and contract management of IT infrastructure, on-premise software, software as a service, and professional services
  • Negotiation and management of contracts with vendors
  • Monitoring and reporting on contract performance
  • Development and maintenance of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in government contract management within an ICT environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in performance-based ICT service contracts
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prepare and present complex technical documents

What We Offer:

A fixed-term appointment with additional extensions offered. Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance will be considered for this role.
