An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Associate, Strategy, you will be responsible for driving growth and improving order quality through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Improving quality across our merchants by identifying delivery and customer-experience gaps using data and consumer insights;
  • Defining experiments and strategies to address gaps and drive continuous improvements (aiming for 1% better every day);
  • Turning strategies into initiatives; iterating rapidly to deliver better quality and impact;
  • Monitoring trends and root-cause issues with SQL and analytics; developing action plans and roll out new product features to improve order quality;
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with account management, product, engineering, finance, analytics, and operations to scale New Verticals;
  • Owning tracking dashboards and week-over-week metrics to drive high quality and execution;
  • Contributing to the development and scaling of DoorDash's next big initiatives, from high-level strategy to operational details;
  • Leading, collaborating, and influencing cross-functional teams including growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product;

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related fields);
  • A self-starter mentality with bias for action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments;
  • Problem-solving skills who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and implement processes;
  • Analytical thinking skills who uses data to inform decisions at both high and detailed levels;
  • Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes and continuous improvement;
  • Comfort with ambiguity and startup-style adaptation;
