Workforce Planning and Coordination Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Rostering Specialist to join our Workforce Planning team at the Qantas Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing rostering amendments for all aircrew across the Turboprop network.

This role is critical to ensuring compliance with relevant Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, internal procedures, and protocols. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Workforce Planning, Standards and Development, Flight Operations, and the ROC, to ensure effective and efficient crew training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely implementation of rostering amendments for all aircrew.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, internal procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient crew training.
  • Proactive identification of issues and development of strategic options to drive decisions and implement activities to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience within the Aviation Industry, preferably within a rostering, training, or operational role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of airline operating practices and associated regulatory guidelines and compliance.
  • Proven ability to work within a high-pressure, time-critical team environment, with the ability to also work independently with minimal direction.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with an Airline/Crew management system (iFlight, Geneva), and Reservations systems (CM) (desirable).
