Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to lead our team of experts in delivering high-quality procurement and contract management results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and connected policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of procurement professionals in delivering high-quality procurement and contract management services.
  2. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and plans that meet business needs.
  3. Provide expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes.
  4. Manage the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policies and processes.
  5. Participate in formal procurement and contract management forums and committees.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.
  • Experience in end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop and manage a team across multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organisational skills, enabling you to effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
