Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to lead our team of experts in delivering high-quality procurement and contract management results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and connected policies.
About the Role- This is an excellent opportunity for a senior procurement specialist to take on a leadership role and make a real impact on our organisation's procurement operations.
- You will be responsible for leading a small team of procurement professionals and working closely with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
- Your expertise in procurement planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement will be invaluable in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

- Lead a team of procurement professionals in delivering high-quality procurement and contract management services.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and plans that meet business needs.
- Provide expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes.
- Manage the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policies and processes.
- Participate in formal procurement and contract management forums and committees.
- Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.
- Experience in end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop and manage a team across multiple priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills, enabling you to effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
