Due to our continued success in delivering diverse, skilled, and qualified candidates, we have opportunities for a Senior Procurement Officer to join our client's team in Perth CBD.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Lead and manage medium to high-risk procurements, including planning, tendering, evaluation, and contract development.

Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, contract renewals, extensions, and risk management.

Oversee and manage contracts, including performance monitoring, compliance, and issue resolution.

Support continuous improvement of procurement policies, templates, and processes.

Mentor junior staff and support stakeholder education on procurement practices.

Ensure compliance with public sector policies, maintain accurate records, and prepare internal and external reports.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Considerable experience across procurement planning, contract development, evaluation, and/or management for complex projects.

Strong understanding of government procurement frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent written and analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, provide recommendations, and resolve contractual disputes.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-performing team.

Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Knowledge of WA Government procurement practices and frameworks.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, law, business, or a related discipline.
