About the Role

We're seeking an experienced professional to partner operationally and strategically with stakeholders to develop category and procurement strategies, oversee sourcing, and manage contracts across diverse indirect categories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of contract performance by creating and applying effective Supplier Relationship Management techniques.
  • Providing expert advice and support on all facets of category management, sourcing, and contract oversight.
  • Management of the execution of a procurement project pipeline, prioritizing tasks and resources to deliver maximum value swiftly.
  • Review of business and supplier relationships within key categories to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing third-party performance.
  • Collaboration with the ERP project team to drive the adoption, refinement, and implementation of new technology and system upgrades.
About You
  • Degree qualification in a related field, or substantial equivalent experience with relevant professional accreditation (MCIPS qualification highly desired).
  • Ability to implement plans and achieve outcomes, leading directly and indirectly through the efforts of others, including driving change through transformation programs.
  • Capacity to think strategically, solve challenges, and identify pathways to meet commercial, sustainability, and compliance objectives.
  • Familiarity with NSW Government or Commonwealth procurement frameworks is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with robust communication, interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
