**Job Opportunity**

Deaf Connect is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to support children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with babies, children, and their families, supporting communication choices, values, and embracing Auslan as the language of the Deaf community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing children in accordance with assessment schedules and writing formal reports.
  • Developing programs to meet the needs of the child.
  • Implementing therapy programs.
  • Providing appropriate, timely, and effective clinical management.
  • Maintaining up-to-date case notes and progress reports.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Membership.
  • NDIS Worker's Screening Check.
  • Working With Children Check/Blue Card.

Preferred skills include knowledge and skills in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and Family Centred Practice (FCP), strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
