Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Therapist to provide expert assessment and treatment for individuals with communication disorders.

  • Expert assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders, including speech, language, and voice impairments.
  • Design, trial, and implementation of low and high tech communication devices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Development, implementation, monitoring, and review of individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals.
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties to ensure safe and effective eating and drinking.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and allied health specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the relevant state or national governing body.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with communication disorders, including children and adults.
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
