About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and influential Principal ESD Consulting Manager to lead our team and drive the future direction of our ESD services.

This is a leadership role that requires a strong passion for sustainability and the built environment, as well as exceptional leadership and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead our Residential and Commercial consulting teams to deliver exceptional service and project profitability.
  • Support the roll-out of new services, including Green Star, NABERS, WELL, Passive House, and Building Services Engineering.
  • Influence the future direction of ESD policy and drive continual change and innovation within the building industry.
  • Develop and manage business opportunities, including client relationships and project workflows.
  • Assess and report on business risks and opportunities, and ensure clients receive meaningful reports.
  • Manage project and portfolio budgets and workflows, and establish processes and procedures to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in building design or construction, with a strong focus on ESD and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, tendering, and financial management.
  • A growth mindset to drive the business to the next level, with a proven track record of driving sales, profitability, and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Highly organized and motivated, with a can-do attitude and the ability to establish the framework, objectives, and targets to manage a team to KPIs.
