Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Collaborate with our care team to design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants to ensure the successful delivery of programs and activities.
  • Activity Coordination: Coordinate a range of activities, both internal and external to the facility, to promote socialization, cultural enrichment, and overall well-being.
  • Resident Support: Provide input during resident care assessments to inform the development of individualized care plans and ensure optimal lifestyle outcomes.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident participation and document any observations or concerns.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, facility staff, volunteers, and local community groups.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle/Health, Diversional Therapy, or similar.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lifestyle programs.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a high level of computing proficiency.
  • Personal Qualities: Innate empathy for our residents, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and services. A positive and creative approach, with a passion for resident social and wellness outcomes.
