Contract Supply Specialist

 

Description:

The role is responsible for ensuring the effective management of contracts and supplier relationships within the Supply Chain team. This involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards related to contract management and supply chain operations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and contract metrics to inform business decisions.

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as commerce, engineering or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in contract management, procurement or supply chain operations.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

  • Proficient in the use of SAP or similar ERP system and ARIBA.
