About the Role

Yourtown is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Milton. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in facilitating successful business change initiatives and defining business problems and solutions via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary project team to understand, map, validate and document business requirements, including modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support business transformation and help establish change by collaborating with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  • Identify project stakeholders and establish customer classes, as well as their characteristics.
  • Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and meet the requirements of the position and all performance expectations, including maintaining currency of knowledge regarding relevant legislation, professional practice and emerging trends to ensure advice is current and effective.
  • Participate in other duties and cross-functional teams as may be required to achieve efficient and effective Yourtown services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an area such as business, finance or information technology.
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organising, and managing resources.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Project Management software.
  • Knowledge and some experience of change management methodologies, such as PROSCI, CMI, LEAN.
