Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized Workplace Operations Specialist to join our team at Thoughtworks in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our employees and external visitors, assisting with logistics, and troubleshooting building maintenance and technology issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to Thoughtworkers and external visitors.
  • Assist with logistics, including onboarding and offboarding of devices and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve building maintenance and technology issues, such as Zoom room problems and facility issues.
  • Ensure that necessary supplies are available to support the current and planned usage of our office space.
  • Offer first-level support to Thoughtworkers with processes like travel booking, facilities use, collaboration tools, and device usage.
  • Record and maintain information related to health and safety, maintenance, sustainability, and asset management.
  • Collaborate with the Workplace Operations and Experience team to deliver plans for regional projects and events.

Requirements:

  • Experience in running office environments and events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Basic knowledge of device and SaaS technologies, including MacOS, Apple devices, and collaboration tools like Zoom and Google Workspaces.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new workplace technologies with support.
