We are seeking a space optimization specialist to join our Sydney-based team.

The role involves designing and building quality store layouts in JDA, enhancing space productivity and layout performance. This will encompass optimal space planning, merchandise principles and best practices, ensuring customer-centric plans that benefit both retailers and sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Compiling and managing national and state-level store layouts to meet business standards

• Analyzing consumer insights and presenting shelf recommendations based on category strategies

• Providing detailed shelf analysis and recommendations to improve shelf efficiencies and retailer profit

• Collaborating with category managers and key vendor partners to deliver customer-centric and aligned store layouts

• Ensuring data integrity of product library

Requirements include:

• Intermediate knowledge of space management tools (preferably JDA Space Planning or similar software)

• Understanding of shelf management principles and supermarket merchandising processes

• Excellent analytical and Excel skills

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

• Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
