About the Role

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Executive Assistant, APS Level 4. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to our Senior Executive Service (SES) officers and their division or branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support: Provide administrative support to SES officers, including managing their diaries, organizing meetings and appointments, and preparing correspondence and reports.
  • Operational Support: Assist with workload management, prioritize tasks, and maintain processes and systems of the branch and/or division.
  • Communication: Provide a point of contact for staff and stakeholders, and facilitate communication between teams.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Australian citizenship is required.
  • Security Clearance: A Baseline security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance of at least this level.
  • Skills and Experience: Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
