Job Title: Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • - Greet guests as they enter the establishment, manage waiting lists, and provide menus and answer initial questions.
  • - Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas, assign them to preferred tables while maintaining table rotation, and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
  • - Respond to complaints and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  • - Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries.
  • - Possess a thorough knowledge of the menu, assist other positions as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • - At least one year's experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel, or tourism industry.
  • - Experience with function booking and coordination, previous experience in an A La Carte environment an advantage.
  • - Cash handling experience required.
  • - Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • - Current RSA certificate.
