Job Title: Service Ambassador

The role of the Service Ambassador plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and creating lasting experiences for our guests.

  • Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.
  • Order Taking: Knowledgeably describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.
  • Guest Check-Ins: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well-organised, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
  • Collaboration with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
  • Payment Processing: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.
  • Handling Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.
  • Familiarity with Safety Protocols: Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility in Work Schedule: Include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
