Project Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineering Lead to oversee a portfolio of civil and road-related upgrade and maintenance projects.

This key leadership role involves managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.

The successful candidate will possess strong civil engineering, consulting, and project management skills, with the ability to lead and supervise a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in providing specialist civil engineering technical advice and consulting services.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects to meet client expectations.
  • Identify necessary technical and engineering resources needed to complete projects and allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and mentoring to the team for safe and effective delivery of projects.
  • Review and critique engineering data, deliverables, documentation, and other project information as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project or Civil Engineer in a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia.
Essential Skills:
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft suite applications.
  • Client management, relations, and negotiation skills.
