Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Lead Engineer with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in mining or heavy industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex design tasks, coordinating across disciplines, and delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the civil design and engineering activities for mining and heavy industrial projects
  • Oversee and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including structural, mechanical, and electrical teams
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
  • Review and approve detailed design drawings and documentation using Civil 3D, Open Roads, and Navisworks

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience in mining/heavy industrial sectors
  • Chartered/Professional Engineer status or eligible for registration
  • Proficient in Civil 3D, Open Roads, and Navisworks
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in cross-discipline project coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
