About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Scape. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our properties, ensuring a high standard of presentation and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Daily Cleaning and Presentation: Ensure public areas, including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, laundry, corridors, and stairwells, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Health and Safety Obligations: Be fully conversant with health and safety best practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Cleaning Departure and Stayover Apartments: Oversee the cleaning of apartments for departing and arriving residents.
  • Stock Management and Ordering: Assist the Manager with stock ordering, stock control, chemical handling, and ordering.
  • Housekeeping Store Management: Manage the housekeeping store, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Staff Rostering and Training: Assist with staff rostering, training, and associated administrative duties.
Requirements
  • Experience in Housekeeping: Must have experience in a housekeeping department, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Hands-on and Organized: Be hands-on and able to assist the team with room cleaning, public area cleaning, and room checks/audits.
  • Immaculate Personal Presentation: Maintain impeccable personal presentation and adhere to Scape's high standards.
  • Ability to Prioritize and Multitask: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing and Confident Personality: Possess an outgoing and confident personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Cultural Sensitivity and Boundaries: Be able to work with and relate to young adults, maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries.
