The Project Construction Manager is responsible for leading the execution of various construction projects and task orders. Key objectives include recapitalizing, completing major repairs, new construction, augmenting existing infrastructure, and maintaining government customer sites.
- Direct facilities' construction and maintenance activities at each site, including document control, drawing distribution, and specifications implementation
- Plan, execute, and monitor project construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, cost control, and scheduling requirements
- Address technical issues during construction project execution, interpreting drawings and enforcing operational standards
- Develop and enforce operational and construction standards supporting company objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory compliance
- Select, train, and lead a skilled workforce to ensure versatility and technical expertise
- Maintain close watch on contractual obligations and stay informed of regulatory changes affecting facility operations
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
- At least seven years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size, and complexity
- Five years of experience as a Senior/Chief Project Manager, supervising project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors
- Professional certification/registration, demonstrated experience working in 24x7 operational environments, and knowledge of process improvement models (e.g., LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
