Electrical Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Facilities Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and contribute to the delivery of high-quality facilities management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support to a major United States Government organization, conducting end-to-end project management, and overseeing site operations and maintenance activities.

The role involves acting as a liaison with USG representatives at all organizational levels, reviewing and commenting on project proposals, developing and managing electrical project plans, and coordinating project approvals. You will also be required to develop status reports, project schedules, and cost estimates, supervise Factory Acceptance Testing, and participate in root cause analysis following an electrical anomaly.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple resources and projects simultaneously. A strong background in electrical systems, experience with low and medium voltage power distribution systems in commercial and/or industrial facilities, and knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures are essential.

You must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or an architectural field, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly or the ability to obtain one.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, testing, and maintenance
  • Project Management: Experience with project planning, coordination, and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Facility Operations: Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
