An innovative opportunity has emerged for a skilled funds lawyer to join a dynamic legal team.

The Role

A newly created position is available for a results-driven lawyer with expertise in fund development and maintenance, including establishment, consolidation, and/or decommissioning.

This role will involve advising on the legal risks of offering documents, such as PDSs, IMs, PPMs, TMDs, and Design & Distribution obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of fund development and maintenance best practices.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance under Australian and offshore regulatory obligations.
  • Support the marketing team to ensure marketing plans and materials are compliant with local and offshore regulations.
  • Manage the execution of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Respond to regulatory queries and coordinate with external counsel as required.
  • Enhance legal processes by improving precedent documents, policies, investor communications, and governance frameworks.
