We are seeking a skilled Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lifestyle activities and programs that promote the social, psychological, recreational cultural and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents' family and friends
  • Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Great IT skills – this will be tested
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
